My Story

Hi there, I'm Miles Peterson, also known as The 3D Engineer on YouTube. I am a 15-year-old electrical engineer with over 9 years of experience, a weather fanatic, and a siren enthusiast. My first interest in civil defense sirens came about when I moved to the beautiful State of Oklahoma in 2023. Living in the very heart of Tornado Alley, I quickly took note of the many tornado sirens that play a crucial role in outdoor warning. To me, it was seeing and hearing these devices save lives that sparked my curiosity and passion for them.

Thus, with a new fascination and a growing enthusiasm for engineering, I began designing my own miniature siren models.

In late 2024, I got my first 3D printer, and since then, I have been printing my own mini siren models. Over the past few years I have perfected my designs, now to the point of selling them for other people to enjoy. Our mini siren models aren't just desktop pieces—they're historically accurate, functional warning devices built for enthusiasts who value accuracy.

Today, I strive to provide high-quality, affordable miniature siren models for people who don't have 3D printers or the resources to make their own. I hope that you enjoy my models as an addition to your collection!
